Select People (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Brisbane-based recruitment agency specialising in landscaping and horticulture. What we collect

Candidates: your name and contact details, resume, work history, qualifications, licences and tickets, skills, salary expectations, work rights, interview notes, reference check results and any other information you choose to give us.

Employers and clients: contact names, business details, role requirements and records of our dealings with you.

Referees: your name, contact details and the feedback you provide about a candidate.

Website visitors: information you enter into our forms or chat, plus general usage information collected through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

We collect most information directly from you, for example when you apply for a job, send us your resume, call us or fill in a form. We may also collect information from referees, from publicly available sources such as job boards and professional networking sites, and from our clients.

Overseas storage

Some of our service providers, including our recruitment database and email providers, may store information on servers located outside Australia. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Keeping your information secure

We store information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to staff who need it. We keep information only for as long as we need it for recruitment purposes or as required by law, and then securely delete or de-identify it.
