Select People was established in March 2003 to focus on recruitment within the Hospitality Industry on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Although only a new company, Select People's experience extends back over 12 years recruiting on the Gold Coast.

Select People is a 'boutique' style agency and, although small, has clients who are among some of the largest employers on the Coast.

Our specialty is in Front Line staffing up to management level within 4/5 star International Hotels including Food and Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping. Other areas include Kitchen, Engineering and Maintenance.

We also specialise in Theme Park Recruitment for the Warner Village group and have recruited on their behalf for over 10 years.

Select People Principal Kent Willis

Kent began his career in Government in 1988 with the Human Resources branch of a Federal Government department with over 2000 staff members.

Kent moved into policy development with the Commonwealth Employment Service (CES) before progressing to Front Line recruiting for the CES on the Gold Coast, recruiting in a variety of industries.

In 1997, Kent joined a specialty unit sponsored by Tourism Training Queensland and based in Surfers Paradise which serviced the recruitment needs of approximately twenty-three 4 and 5 star hotels on the Coast as well as the Warner Village Theme Parks.

Continuing to specialise in the area of hospitality recruitment, he founded Select People in 2003.

Select People are glad to announce the commencement of our newest team member. Emma joins our team on reception. She has had years of experience in customer service and bring her bright smile and warm personality to lighten up the office.
